In collaboration with @Dermablend, we hosted an empowering self-esteem makeover event called ReVITalize for youth and adults from the Georgia/Atlanta area. The National Vitiligo Bond Inc Foundation aimed to create a fun atmosphere where participants could dance, enjoy themselves, and explore makeup options. Our members felt at ease trying out makeup and learning how to enhance their skin, whether with or without cosmetics. June is Vitiligo Awareness Month in Georgia campaign started to bring awareness to the vitiligo community in order to reduce the stigma associated with the disorder. Word spread to different states and countries, and they wanted us to duplicate the efforts everywhere. The campaign’s success was a testament to the power of community and shared goals.
