Vitiligo Awareness Month

A national movement dedicated to education, awareness, advocacy, and recognition for individuals living with vitiligo. Every June, communities unite across the United States to bring visibility and understanding to this condition.

About the Campaign

National Vitiligo Awareness Month is observed every June to increase public understanding of vitiligo, promote early education, and support individuals and families impacted by the condition.

Vitiligo is recognized as a public health priority due to its profound emotional, psychological, and social impact. Increasing awareness and support is essential to reduce stigma and protect the mental health and well-being of both youth and adults affected by visible differences and societal pressures.
